Microsoft recently introduced new, simplified streamlined technical certification paths, aligning to industry-recognized areas of competence and providing flexibility to showcase your specific skills on Microsoft products and services. The newly defined areas of Competency are Mobility, Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, Productivity, Data Management and Analytics, and Application Builder.
Once you earn your MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) in any area of competence you just need to take one more elective exam to earn your MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer).
